Devlog #2 Combat & AI Overhaul + Hidden Mechainics (Build 0.17.1)


0.17.1 Changes:

  • Changed Item placement, AI placement, and accessable areas.
  • Changed how aggressive AI gets.
  • Fixed several buggy doors.
  • Fixed wrong item sprites and missing descriptions.
  • Changes how haunts are triggered.

Hello, This is AlienKat,

I'm happy that I can finally upload a new build! Although there's no major changes to gameplay, there's been a lot of background tweaks and a new area added in thats currently not accessable in the playtest demo. Most of what I've been working on is mostly modeling the new area and a new monster. Also a lot of bug fixing and refixing, which I'll probably have to refix again because thats how this stuff goes. As far as things currently are, my next goal is to have a completed Demo by Halloween and possibly a steam page? Anyway, thank ya'll for reading and thank y'all for playing. 

Monster I'm currently working on. I need to redo textures since i'm not very happy with the current look. Final game will have 7 monsters representing the 7 deadly sins. I only have 2 more left to make including this one.



Too be honest, I think I spent most of my time playing Kuon rather than work on this. But its like research right?
